Pelmets
Private house, York
Five wooden and one metal pelmet were taken down as part of a redecoration scheme in a private house in York. The pelmets had previously been painted with gold paint that had tarnished and discoloured badly. My brief was to bring the pelmets back to gold finish using 23ct red gold leaf.
Hedsor Gates
Hedsor House Berkshire
The gates are situated at the entrance of the drive leading up to Hedsor House in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The gates had already been prepared and painted, my brief was to gild certain areas using 23.5ct transfer leaf.
